Here is a summary of the general safety procedures for working with Croc-Crete Concrete Dissolver.
- Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) rated for strong acids.
- Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and inhalation of vapor or mist, use an organic acid respirator if needed.
- In the event of contact with Croc-Crete, wash affected areas thoroughly, then use baking soda mixed with water applied to the area to neutralize the Croc-Crete solution then flush with ample amounts of water. If there is any doubt, then call poison control for procedures to follow or 911 if it is an emergency.
- To neutralize Croc-Crete in the event of a spill, pour baking soda directly onto Croc-Crete solution until foaming stops, then vacuum up and dispose of it properly according to local regulations.
- Protect areas that could potentially come into contact with Croc-Crete.
- Store unused Croc-Crete in the original container.
- Dispose of spent Croc-Crete properly and according to local laws.
